If any one technology or idea dominated last week’s RSA Conference, it was cloud computing. Keynotes, session presentations and the exhibit floor were full of it. In fact, it might have been a little too cloudy. One speaker won a round of applause when he prefaced a technical talk on hashing algorithms by saying, “This is not a talk about cloud computing.”
UK Nursery installs biometric security system

Canada promised biometric passports

After first promising its citizens biometric passports in 2008, the Canadian government has promised to move the program back into items they intend to deliver to its citizens. The announcement came during a throne speech on March 3 that discussed multiple items that had been promised to be included in the federal 2008 budget, but were cut for various reasons.
