Biometrics

|
Elementary Schools
Biometrics are being deployed to strengthen security and properly allocate benefits in primary and secondary schools. A key aim is to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining entry to school facilities. Biometrics are also being used to see to it that children access school computers under controlled conditions, in order, for example, to do away with the sharing of passwords that let students wander freely over the Internet. Biometrics are also in use in school cafeterias to make sure students entitled to subsidized meals receive them.
